It's coming...

Where we left off: Percy and Annabeth go falling into the under world. They are going to try to meet them on the other side of the "door" in the underworld. It's the only way to keep the monsters they defeat from reforming. They must save the world Gea's wrath.

The House of Hades is the fourth in the Hero's of Olympus series. It is to be released October 8, 2013.
The cover above is not completed, and the final cover is to be released May 31 (2013).
Special sneak peaks are to be released over the summer of 2013. Many people want it sooooo badly (especially me), but according to Rick Riordan (the author of all of the Percy Jackson books), the book has not been completed yet. I can't wait for it to come out. More news on the way. Hope you read it soon. Click here to see what Rick Riordan has to say for this book on is blog.

Magic Corn

Author: Me
Copy-right: Currently private (You can't take it)
Title: Magic Corn
Once upon time there was a very mean man. He hated the city of Snow Ville because he had had to leave his family since no college in the large city had accepted him, forcing him to move away. One day he walked into Snow Ville and started his plan of revenge. He hopped over a fence into a nearby farm, and stole 3 ears of corn. Next, he walked to the city capitol where all the citizens were told to attend a city wide meeting inside the courtroom. The door was open, so he walked inside.
Once he found the courtroom he came in and stepped up on the podium and began to speak. He said the corn in his hands was “magic corn” and that whoever ate it would have the power to take over the world. Like a miracle, the people believed his insane story. He knew that they would want the power to take over the world. He set the corn right at his feet and left the courtroom.
Soon he heard people yelling and fighting, all trying to get the corn. All except one boy, no older than 11. He ran past the man and headed straight at the door.
Once the boy had exited the capitol building he headed for all the farms in town. After searching and searching, the people inside the capitol rushed out three people holding an ear of corn and the rest of the people trying to steal it from them. After a while some peoples who lived nearby dashed into their houses and came back out holing rifles. The crowd was going crazy, and he had to hurry unless he wanted the whole town dead.
He ran as fast as he could until finally he found what he wanted. He uprooted 3 empty corn stalks and spirited for the mob of lunatics. He got there and showed the uprooted corn stalks to the crowd. He explained that they were the only ones who had gotten harvested and that the man who started all this was just wanting to throw the city into a civil war. They put the man who had started this all in jail for his whole life and rewarded the boy and his family for stopping the riot, and everyone felt pretty embarrassed since it was a 11 year old who stopped their foolish behavior. Everyone in Snow Ville lived in peace from then on.
The End.

Rick Riordan

Hey everyone. Today  I'm here to talk about one of my favorite authors, Rick Riordan, who has written about four different sires, with a total of 23 books! Most of his books (my favorite) are based off of mythology, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian. He finds great ways to mix the old myths with modern technology. I personally think his books are amazing, and I'm still reading them! They're great, and he releases them pretty fast. Overall, I think he's one of the best authors of the 21 century! I suggest his books for anyone who  can read (which I guess you can)! Click here to check out his website!
Hope you check out his books!

Percy Returns!

Percy’s been in months of slumber. Just like Jason from the last book, he's had his memory wiped by Juno (or Hera, whatever) and has been sent to another camp, camp Jupiter, a roman camp, to unite the Greeks and Romans.  He's also got new friends at his side, and he's going to need all the help he can get. They have been sent to unleash the god of death, Death, since without him the demigod’s enemies cannot die and just continue to re-form, although the demigod’s can’t say the same for themselves.     They also have to get past the newly re-born giants, eventually to try to defeat the evil earth goddess in later books who basically wants to destroy all human civilization, all within one week. That’s what the new book, The Son of Neptune is all about.

I love this book and I’m sure you will too. Rick Riordan does a great job mixing the myths of old with modern technology. Such as saying the amazon warriors from Greece run Amazon, the online shopping service. He creates his own world of demigods such as Percy and monsters as if it’s right behind our backs. Its action packed and funny, and practically no moment is dull! They face a lot of challenges along the way like the giant born to kill Hades. The only problem is he’s immortal in his birthplace, Alaska.

Once you begin you can’t seem to stop reading, always wanting to know what happens next. I think this book is great and I recommend this to anyone who likes adventure, or who just likes a good story. Trust me, it’s a great book!

I give this book four book marks!
